This is the best tasting Dutch apple pancake that is baked in the oven. The apple slices are cooked in an oven-proof pan on the stovetop. It is my favorite pancake recipe. Recipe is as follows: Preheat oven to 450 degrees 1. Peel and slice 2 Granny Smith apples. 2. Add 1/4 cup butter(half a stick) in an oven-proof pan and saute apple slices for 5 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat. 3. MIx 3/4 cup buttermilk pancake mix, 3 eggs, 1 Tbsp. sugar, 1/2 cup milk until well-blended. 4.Pour over the apple slices in the oven-proof pan. 5. Add 1/4 cup toasted chopped pecans. 6 Mix 1 tsp. ground cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar and sprinkle evenly over batter. 7.Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes. 8. Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes. Flip pancake over a large platter and cut into serving pieces and serve. Great with or without maple syrup. Song Credit: L'amour a la cour by I Love You
